Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm going to have to wait until the weekend to pick up Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day when I'm at Hub's. I can't wait!

I'm trudging through Moon Called (Mercedes Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs I like Mercy, but the story it's self isn't grabbing me.

message 1553: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments The first one isn't the greatest, Susan. But if you can, stick with it, that is one series that definitely improves the further you go.

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments that's good to hear, CaroB, cause I'm bored with this :(

message 1555: by Lina (new)

Lina | 5563 comments OK, so I just went to buy Reflected in You from the kindle store, but it told me I had already bought it in September. And I can't download it. What's up with that?

message 1556: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments That's not good :( I'd be calling Amazon and asking where my book is.

Picked up Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day but I won't get to it right away. I'm seeing good reviews for it already though.

~Megan~ (megadee) Listening to New York to Dallas (In Death, #33) by J.D. Robb , and it is tearing me up inside. *sob*

Also starting Mortal Ties (World of the Lupi, #9) by Eileen Wilks , which I'm super excited about!

message 1562: by Lisa Jo (new)

Lisa Jo (lisajo85) | 35 comments Jenny, have you finished Sultry with a Twist? Curious to hear what you thought! :-)

Rachel, you'll have to let me know what you think of His Very Own Girl...that is one Lofty novel I haven't had a chance to read yet.

I just started Engaged in Sin by Sharon Page

I read The Club by Sharon Page and absolutely hated it, but I'm hoping this one is better. Hero is blind...I do LOVE a tortured/wounded hero, so I'm hoping this one doesn't disappoint! :-)

Lina | 5563 comments I've just finished two 5 star reads back to back(a rarity for me)!
The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton and Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth

Fabulous in completely different ways.

Currently reading A Rogue's Proposal (Cynster, #4) by Stephanie Laurens and just starting on Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill tonight.

Abby | 63 comments I'm about 10ch's into
Ephemeral (The Countenance, #1) by Addison Moore and it's interesting to say the least....

By the way ... I had NO idea this book Heat Wave (Nikki Heat, #1) by Richard Castle and author actually existed and wasn't just a character from the Castle TV show... LOL

Elishia | 2620 comments I like the cover of that book Abby.

I've just finished The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton and Rapture (Fallen, #4) by Lauren Kate both were really good. Now starting Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2) by Sylvia Day and going to listen to Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb

Rachel the Book Harlot Lisa Jo wrote: "Rachel, you'll have to let me know what you think of His Very Own Girl...that is one Lofty novel I haven't had a chance to read yet.

Definitely will. :)

Reading has been such a slow go for me this week and I fear it will be like this for the rest of the semester. My course workload is out of control.

message 1573: by Ann (new)

Ann Noell (fantasyannie) still not reading any romance, still into mystery and now fantasy reading Rise of Empire (The Riyria Revelations, #3-4) by Michael J. Sullivan

I hear ya. When I was in school just a few years ago, I barely had time to sleep, let alone read something I actually wanted to read! By the time I finished all the required reading I couldn't focus on anything else! Hang in there!

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments It was very good, Kyra. But left me feeling very frustrated with the resoltuion. I get why Gideon did what he did, but the thought that everything should go back to "normal" know that she knows his reasons, and we should ignore the way his actions made Eva feel, is unreal.

So would you say I should wait until I have the 3rd book in hand before I bother to read this? Would that help with the angst-factor?

message 1585: by Elishia (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Not really, caroB. The angst gets resolved in the last few paragraphs of the book.

Zoe Just finished Until There Was You by Kristan Higgins , eyes still red from laughing and crying. Also listening to Christmas Eve in Friday Harbor by Lisa Kreypas . The Higgins was the best book I've read in a while. Love her stuff, but its usually in first person, which not everyone likes. It's one wasn't, so I'm hoping more people will discover her!
