°¾±³Ù★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments Just finished A Secret Love (Cynster, #5) by Stephanie Laurens . Ugh, I thought I was going to have to smack the hero upside his head a time or two. But it was good. Gotta do my review and stuff now, so I don't know what to read next yet. :)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I read Slammed (Slammed, #1) by Colleen Hoover and Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2) by Colleen Hoover back to back. If you have not read them, go do it. What's stopping you. I will now read anything this lady writes.

Terab (fiddylover) | 54 comments Definitely read Slammed and Point of Interest...both great books!!!

I'm almost finished with Conviction (Club Destiny, #1) by Nicole Edwards but I picked up The Perfect Game by J. Sterling yesterday morning and finished it at midnight last night. Love it! It reminded me of Beautiful Disaster. Today I'm going to try to finish Conviction ...especially since I'm borrowing it, I only have a few days left with it.

Me, too!! I love the poems, they're amazing!! I think the one I'm talking about is towards the middle or end. You'll know which one when you come to it :)

message 1727: by Terab (new)

Terab (fiddylover) | 54 comments Finished Conviction (Club Destiny, #1) by Nicole Edwards , I liked it, I didn't love it. The love scenes were very, very steamy!! Recommended for anyone who likes to read about more than 2 lovers at one time. Now I want to finish Under Cover of Love by Ellen Wolf -this is about a detective searching for his friend's killer & he's decided to set his sights on the killer's sister 2 c if she knows his whereabouts but he doesn't anticipate falling in love with her.

Very emotional books.

Yes i've still been thinking about them, i'll def buy them in paperback.

I started Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan but not what I want to read right now and i'm listening to Ceremony in Death (In Death, #5) by J.D. Robb

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I'm reading Forged in Fire (Red-Hot SEALs, #1) by Trish McCallan and listening to Loyalty in Death (In Death, #9) by J.D. Robb

They do not go well together , both are about death ,murder and terrorist attack .Forged in fire had a semi-graphic rape scene in it .I usually read something fluffy along side In death series .

message 1745: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I just finished Demon's Bride (The Hellraisers, #2) by Zoe Archer and liked it a whole lot. I was hesitant cause I was very disappointed by the first book in the series. This one is what I had hoped for with that one. If the series continues in the way the 2nd book was written, I'll be so happy!

message 1746: by Gisela, Moderator (new)

Gisela (chicadorlando) | 4022 comments I'm currently reading Tempting the Bride (Fitzhugh Trilogy, #3) by Sherry Thomas . I'm enjoying the hero so much! He's loved the heroine for most of his life but really doesn't know how to get her to notice him as a man and not as her brother's annoying best friend.

Ooo...I did the pre-copy edits on Forged in Fire. LOVED the book, but the rape scene got to me, too. All rape scenes do. *shiver*

message 1748: by [deleted user] (new)

Reading Colters' Lady (Colters' Legacy, #2) by Maya Banks right now. It's a little slow going, but that may be more of life distracting me than the quality of the book itself. ;)
