I am in process of writing MT based historical novel about Native male who ends up at MT state prison where I used to work as a clinician. I'll look for the anthology. Wow, which prison did you work at? That sounds interesting.
I was invited to speak at Coyote Ridge, a medium security facility in Washington. I had a great time with the inmates, toured one of the cell blocks with the prison librarian. It was enlightening. No matter what a person's backstory is, readers are readers.
And yep, my wife went to Great Falls High :)

I worked at the men's prison in Deer Lodge providing mental health services. I graduated from GFHS in 1965, the largest graduating class in MT history as CMR opened the next year. My question is once my manuscript is complete shall I pursue publishing through an agent or self publish? Any opinions?
