In Iowa, Lynn used to go to school and Katie used to stay home. Lynn didn't have any friends at school. And Katie used to wait all day for Lynn to come home. Each and every one of the hero's have there very own power; and with that power they can save the world. Over time the hero's start connecting somehow. But even though they are superheroes with superpowers; each and every one of them are real people.
When Peter Parker is spider-man all he does is do good. That's what we all notice, how his powers get into action. We notice the other things as well, like how he is struggling to pay for rent, and at the same time he keeps losing his job. Those are the things that keep him as a "real person."
In heroes, it's kind of the same thing. Nikki has this power, she has 2 different sides to her. The "dangerous" side to her, is able to kill and hurt others. But Nikki is a real person. She is a single mom, she has a son: Micah, and she is $2 million dollars in debt.
And it's not just these "heroes" who are real people, its everyone. No matter what someone may say or think about us, we are real people. We have feelings and thoughts. ...more

-why is ruby being so mean to her sister? -whats up with ruby, and the "i don't want any friends" -i think ruby and Nate are going to have a "more than friends relationship" sometime in the book -why doesn't ruby let anyone get close to her. -ruby and Jamie are already close. why cant ruby just talk to him? -its getting annoying how the key is always being mentioned. but i think it has a deeper more significant meaning. -is Olivia supposed to be like ruby? they both are new and they're both from Jackson high -why is Nate's dad- Blake so weird. the way he tried to strangle Roscoe. -its so cute how Roscoe acts around ruby. when ruby was petting Roscoe, he acted in such away as if they'd known each other for years and as if ruby's touch was magical -what is the real reason that Cora left so many years ago? -why did Cora all of a sudden take ruby in? did she want to, or was she forced to? -i think that Cora and ruby will start to bond again -haha! Gervais makes me laugh. -Gervais has a crush on ruby -heather is so blind sighted. -whats the real reason why ruby's mom left? -whats the other side of Nate, the hidden one -heather is such a control freak. but she's also really nice and selfless -i think that ruby's fish symbolizes her. because the way the white fish is unique and stands out is the same way ruby is unique and stands out. -the key is supposed to symbolize home, that no matter what Ruby will always have a home to go back to. -i hate how when ruby got drunk, she was saying how it was in her genes. (from her mom) and then she kept telling herself how she couldn't stop herself because the changes were already starting. and that ruby was becoming like her mom -its so sweet how Nate keeps on wanting to help ruby. reminds me of me. because i like making friends with the new people in school. -why cant ruby just accept that Nate wants to be her friend and she is friends with Nate. -i think that the author kind of exaggerates on Gervais. because I'm 12 and I'm pretty sure 12 year old boys don't laugh hysterically when they burp or fart. but i never know. Gervais sounds more like a 6 year old to me. -ruby has really changed. and that's what she was afraid of, i think. i think that she was afraid that she'll forget who she really is, who her real friends are, where her real home is. but i don't think that matters. i think that her real self is the person she is now, the house with Cora and Jamie, and her real friends Nate, heather, Olivia, Gervais, Reggie. She just hasn't had the chance to be able to live this before. -ruby's mom confuses me. she's a druggie, and i think she's also an abuser. at 1st her husband left her, and then Cora left her. so now shes left with ruby. she doesn't want ruby to leave her, cause then she'll be all alone. so she decided to leave ruby. -it's so sad how ruby and Cora are strangers to each other .they haven't seen each other in over 10 years. that is just plain sad. and even sadder how the same thing has happened to many people like ruby and Cora. not knowing or meeting your sibling for such a long period of time and then all of a sudden knowing them...more
I have to admit, at the beginning when I was reading the prologue I thought that the main character: Arnie fell inn love with this dangerous girl nameI have to admit, at the beginning when I was reading the prologue I thought that the main character: Arnie fell inn love with this dangerous girl named Christine. But then as I read on, I realized that Christine was actually a vehicle. Kind of weird I have to say, to be attracted to a car but really its not as weird as I thought.
Arnie is a young teenage boy. And he seems not to have many friends. In fact I think his only friend is Dennis. I'm wondering why it is that no one can stand him. I get that he's ugly. With pimples and zits. Ew! But he should still have some dignity. Anyway, Christine is supposedly like Arnie. She is really ugly outside. And she's messed up, she's a wreck. I think that that is the reason that Arnie has this attraction to Christine. Because under all of both of that ugliness, there is something there. Something important, something strong, some kind of beauty.
I think that Christine carries a curse or she's some kind of person in an image of a car. And Leboy has something to do with this. And I'm guessing that Arnie is the victim. Or that Christine is going to put a curse on Arnie. That is causing him to change. ...more

Now th**spoiler alert** First...Violet, Klaus, and Sunny were told that their parents had died in the fire that destroyed their whole entire mansion. Now they were left as orphans and homeless. -I don't know how I would feel if I heard that my parents had died, probably devastated as they were. But I think I'd go mad. And they seemed to handle the news well-ly. -I feel so bad for them. -Where's the will?
2nd....They go live with Count Olaf. Some kind of distant relative. He's horrible to them. They do the dishes, clean the house, make the food. They only sleep in 1 bed. He doesn't provide them with enough clothes or enough food. - If my parents were to die, and I'd have to live with any of me relatives. ANY. it wouldn't matter. because I know that they'll treat me well, with love and care. -I'd murder Count Olaf and run -How are they even related? -He sounds like a rapist
3rd....Count Olaf tells the Baudelaires' that he wants them to be in a play with him. Klaus and Sunny working backstage and Violet to play the bride. His bride. - Who'd want to get married with him? He's UGLY -Rapist! -Ew! -Poor Violet! -Okay he is so up to something. (I know so, I already read this book)
4th....Baudelaires' goes to the neighbor Justice Strauss' home, and they spend the whole afternoon in her library. Looking for books on marriage laws. Klaus figures it all out. - Count Olaf will do this play so it looks fake, but he;ll get married to Violet for real. And then he'll take over the Baudelaire fortune. -I knew it! ( and not because I already read the book -That bastard! -What will they do?! ( Like will Violet sign the marriage paper with her left hand, even though she's a righty. Making the marriage fake. And then Olaf will be outsmarted? But that won't happen! [Yes it will:]) -Good job Klaus! -That bastard, Count Olaf not Klaus!
5th...Klaus tells Violet what Olaf has in mind and will do at the play. Count Olaf locks Sunny up in the tower threatening Violet that if she won't marry him, she'd never see Sunny again -Tan tan taaaa...what's gonna happen next? (wait I already know) -She'll figure something out. Violet's a smart little girl - Uh oh
6th....Everyone's there at the play. Mr.Poe and his wife. Justice Strauss- she plays the lawyer, after the plays over Count Olaf says that he is now married to Violet and has control of the Baudelaire fortune. But Violet who is smart, says no she isn't married to Count Olaf, because she signed the papers with her left hand, even though she's a righty. And while that happens Klaus saves Sunny -I knew it! -Olaf you're such a dumbass -Yay!
7th....Count Olaf is arrested and Baudelaire fortune is safe. And so are the Baudelaires-for now - Yahoo! Yay! -Count Olaf should just die. -The Baudelaires aren't safe yet, just for a little while. -Good luck Baudelaires ...more
I went back in time. Your time. To the 19th century. I know, I know. It was dangerous and could've cost my life, but I still went. I mean,Dear Jesse,
I went back in time. Your time. To the 19th century. I know, I know. It was dangerous and could've cost my life, but I still went. I mean, really, since when did I ever listen to what someone told me to do.Whatever. The real reason for this is to say goodbye. Why? You ask, well because, in the future you and me, well we'll never meet. you know I'm actually smiling right now because, if you were here you'd probably get all mad and say , "Susannah. it's 'you and I.'"
At first I considered of keeping my dad from dying. But then, my life wouldn't be the way it is. My mom wouldn't have met Andy and get married to him, I wouldn't have any brothers, well David. And I'd never move to Califorinia. Meet Father Dom,CeeCee, and Adam, and most importantly you. I wouldn't have met you Jesse. My dad, said it was okay. That it would be alright if I didn't keep him from dying. It meant so much to him that I actually considered doing something like that.
At first I came to stop Paul from stopping Felix from killing you. Or else I'd never have met you. But then I met you Jesse, the real you. And how could I stand and see you die? Even if, you had made me cry my eyes out. I'm sorry, but you did. Come on, you didn't believe me. You thought I was a nutcrack. And then you called me "Mrs. Susannah."
I wish that instead of you being from the 19th century and instead of you'd have been born in the 21st century, so then you wouldn't be a ghost or anything. And it would be perfectly fine if we'd had actually gone out or something. But then I think, would you actually have hung out with me? Would we ever even meet eachother? I doubt it, you'd probably have hung around some other college girl, the same age as you and not 5 years younger.
This is probably the most hardest thing that I've ever done in my life.
The thing I hate mostly about this is that when I get back to the 21st century I'll never ever remember you. But even though I would never have actually known you I'd know in my heart that their was someone that I was wupposed to meet. Someone I was supposed to be together with. So I'd be waiting for that person all my life, and never have met him. Because that person would be you. So I would never, ever, ever be able to be in an actual relationship with someone because I would know that that person is not you.
And if I go back in time, and Paul's plan actually happens to work, and I do fall for him. And we end up together. Please don't get mad. Because somewhere, someday I'll know that you are the person I'm supposed to be with. That you are the person I was supposed to love and have a future with.
I hope you finally get to Rest In Peace. But look in the bright side, you don't get killed. Your not married to that skanky bitch Maria. And now you know.
I love you, Jesse. I love you so much, that I can prove it to you. I'm doing this for you. RIP. And maybe we'll be together soon, in both of our next lives. Don't worry I'll make sure that I find away to beat up Paul.
With all my love,
Suze Simon (also known as Susannah to Jesse de Silva) I love you so so so so so so so much. ...more

Katniss really pisses me off. I want to like smack her across the face. I mean all she does is think about herself. She’s self centered, stubborn, and conceited. “Oh my god! I love Gale! But I love Peeta! Oh my god what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do!? Wa, wa, wa, wa! Why can’t she just drop dead? Seriously, her goal is to keep Peeta alive, doesn’t matter what happens to her, she’ll keep Peeta alive only. Let’s see where that got her. (not going to say.) She’s so inside her own little world, trying to get the Capitol to believe that there is something going on between her and Peeta; and planning who she’d have to kill next, that Katniss can’t even realize that everyone is actually been keeping her alive.
But then there’s the side of her that I kinda like. I mean, she volunteered for Prim during the reaping last year. She managed to keep Peeta alive. She gave out people food in her district. And she helped the two girls in the woods.
I don’t know how she can do it. Think about killing someone else. I mean I don’t exactly know what I’d do in Katniss shoes, but I don’t think I’d ever be able to kill someone or watch someone die in front of me. I’d probably just let myself get killed or kill myself. It’s too hard to live knowing that you could’ve saved someone from dying or taking someone’s life away with my own hands. Katniss watched Rue die; she watched Madge and Wiress die too. She killed Cato with a bow and arrow. She is a very strong girl, if she can manage to live with all that going on. And having to loose her father at such a young age, I don’t know if I exactly hate her anymore, but I feel sympathetic towards her.
But Katniss can’t die! She just can’t! The book ends if she does drop dead, so I take that back. I really don’t want her to just drop dead. ...more

Chapter 26
I've decided: I'm going to tell him the truth. The truth that contains lies. So...I'm not telling him the truth? No, I'm just not going to fully explain. What he won't know won't hurt him, will it? Well...to tell you the actual truth, I have no idea. But I've got to this, and I have to do this now.
Josh, I am a Gallagher Girl. Yes, I know I lied to you. I'm so sorry. But, I-I-I I'm sorry. Good-bye. I think that's all I have to say. Piece of cake...no not really.
I absolutely positively can't do this. I'm just going to turn around, never going to have to see his face again.
Uh-oh.
"Hi, Josh. Oh hello, Dillon. It's nice to see you again." I'm going to blow this. Breathe, breathe Cammie. I am chameleon. I can do this! I am a trained spy. I've done this since forever. Why is it so hard all of a sudden?
"Well well well." Dillon strolled toward me. "How was SCHOOL today?" he asked.
Gulp. "You know. The usual, fine."
"I saw you Saturday," Dillon said. "Walking home with your friends." "But...I'm home schooled. How could you possibly know where I live? Wait...are you...? DO you...stalk me or something? Cause this is kinda getting CREEPY." And the Academy Award for Best Actress in Teenage Drama goes to....CAMMIE MORGAN!!! Yay!
"Give it up rich girl, I saw you. With my own eyes. I SAW you! I don't care what your daddy-"
Did he know that I could easily claw out his eyes. That I can knock him out dead. Be careful who your talking to D-man because I will kill you.
But he didn't finish, "Dillon!" it was Josh this time.
"I'm so sorry," I whispered. "I'm so sorry." But i couldn't see his face anymore. I couldn't see anything. My vision was blurred with tears. And I turned away before they showed. I ripped off the earings from my ear and shoved them in his hand.
"I can't ever see you again." I looked into his eyes once more, "You'll be better for it."

Now, in his adulthood Amir goes back to his childhood. Moving back to Afghanistan, going back to all those memories he once tried to bury.
I think that one of the big idea that the author tried to show was friendship. Amir's father's servant's son: Hassan, was Amir's best friend, they were so close that they were like brothers. Hassan grew up willing to do anything for Amir. Amir betrayed his best friend, standing by and watching Hassan get raped by an enemy- Assef. And doing nothing about it. I think of all the things, the pomegranate tree shows the friendship between these two very different friends. The pomegranate tree that Amir returns to in his adulthood bearing all the memories he once shared with Hassan. Carved on the tree says, "Amir and Hassan the Sultans of Kabul." It reminds Amir of that day when he told Hassan to hit him with a pomegranate from the tree, and instead HAssan hits himself on the head with that fruit.
Hassan is a Shi'a Muslim and a Hazara. It's kind of confusing for me to really get what that's supposed to mean, and it took me sometime to really figure it out. Assef is a bully who has bullied Amir and Hassan a number of times. What he wants is to make Afghanistan different, in a way that he thinks will benefit everyone. Assef pretty much despises all Hazara's and he hates Amir and Amir's father for caring for Hazara's. It shows the ethnic diversity in Afghanistan. Being both Shi'a and Sunni Muslim is both under the names of Muslim but there's so much hate going on between them in the book. Showing the differences between the same religious group.

There's 2 families for each of the characters in the Greasers'. There's the real family and the other family that they have as greasers. It just reminds me that every family has the goods and bad's.
It's just brotherhood. they'll stick out for each other and help each other. At Ponyboy's home the door is always unlocked, just in case anyone from the gang needs a place to stay. No matter what happens the brotherhood in the gang is always there. Johnny for instance, his father beats him and the only family he's got left is the gang. •Ironic how Becky can’t manage to pay her bills or stop spending money, yet she’s a finance journalist giving other people advice about how to manage there money. •In a weird way, I can relate to her. She tells herself she won’t spend the money, but at the end she spends more than she even has. And me, I always tell myself that I’ll save money and won’t buy anything and end up buying something and having no money left. •There’s always some sort of sale going on every store she passes by. •H²â±è´Ç³¦°ù¾±³Ù±ð •Rebecca knows every brand, every price of every brand, every store. •Everything’s connected to shopping •Isn’t it awkward to borrow money from a stranger and then hang out with them like you’re old friends? •Her parents have to get their skills from soap operas. •How can people believe her lies, they’re so unbelievable! •Fantasizes really crazy but cool stuff •Her lies are so complicated •Determined never gives up. •She’s clearly in love with Luke Brandon •She was going to use Tarkie, just to get his money and pay all her bills and debts. •“Don’t eat more than you can chewâ€ I thought that this expression was relevant to the book. But in Rebecca’s case, I’d say “Don’t buy more than you can pay.â€ Because each time Becky enters a shop she gets that urge to buy something. But she can’t pay it all. She has bills to pay, her credit cards in debt, and she owes money in Octagon. At first, I thought that it could be pretty easy just to stop shopping and spending money. But then I kept thinking, that really it’s not as easy as it seems. Rebecca has a passion for shopping. And her dream right now, is that she can shop for anything she wants and not have to pay off anything. Her happiness ends quickly, because when it’s her turn to the clerk to pay off all her items, her happiness goes away because her credit cards in debt or because she has no money on her. •I think that it’s all about the conscience. The voice in our heads telling us that to not do this because it’s wrong, and just a little bit of it won’t do suck harm. And in Rebecca’s case, her conscience is telling her not to walk into a shop but peeking in won’t be so bad. And not to buy anything because she’s in debt but buying 1 little tiny teeny thing won’t be so bad it’ll be the best thing in the world. •All Rebecca is trying to do is to find her real self. She’s a financial journalist giving people advice on how to manage their money, but yet she cannot manage her money. She thinks that people don’t respect her, that they just think of her as a silly girl. But she wants everyone to know that she isn’t a silly girl, she’s Rebecca Bloomwood. But Rebecca’s whole journey throughout the book is finding her real self. •I think that the girl at the shop symbolizes Rebecca. The girl was determined that she would get those jeans as was Rebecca. They both would do anything for that particular pair of zebra printed jeans. The girl reported Rebecca getting her fired and Rebecca hid those jeans from the girl. When Rebecca was fired from her job, she thought the girl was really obsessed with those jeans. But yet so was Rebecca. And therefore I thought of her as a hypocrite just for that one moment. •She just wanted to use Tarquin! Get his money, pay her bills, go shopping and then dump him. •Becky’s world just revolves around shopping •How come her best friend Suze doesn’t help her with the money situation? •Why can’t Becky just ask her parents for some money help? •Why can’t she just go to the meeting with Smeater? •Rebecca reminds me of a little kid who doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong
