Notes:
(1) Don't know if it's been accentuated, but Harry looks downright tiny in the gif.
(2) Harry: "What d’you do, sneak up here in the evenings to watch the prefects take baths?"
Myrtle: "Sometimes, but I’ve never come out to speak to anyone before."
Harry: "I’m honored. You keep your eyes shut!"
- Moaning Myrtle... more like Pervy Myrtle, amiright?

Notes:
(1) For someone who doesn't think much of muggles, Fudge sure loves to wear their clothes.
(2) "Sirius Black!" [Mrs. Weasley] shrieked, pointing at him.
"Mum, shut up!" Ron yelled. "It’s okay!"'
- Often a good "shut up" is the quickest remedy for hysteria.
(3) Dumbledore forces Sirius and Snape to shake hands. Ever the teacher, ever the students.

Notes:
(1) Fawkes uses his tears to speed up Harry's wounds healing. That's handy... sort of like wizard Polysporin.
(2) Now that Fleur likes Ron and pays him attention, I guess she's not hot no more. Not surprising. (see gif)
- Alternatively, once kissed, perhaps her veela powers wore off.
- Alternatively, perhaps Ron's shifted his attention elsewhere.

Notes:
(1) Harry's first clue should have been that Crouch always called Voldemort "The Dark Lord." All upright wizards use "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." The boldest just say Voldemort.
(2) Wonder if all the lip licking meant David Tennant needed ChapStick on standby?
(3) Karkaroff fled? Who's going to sail the ship back to Durmstrang? Magic, most likely.

Notes:
(1) Not the most impressive group of Death Eaters here. A bunch of no-names, Buckbeak's would-be executioner and some Slytherin dads.
(2) Wormtail speaks rat. Apparently being animagus gives you the ability to speak to animals. I guess McGonagall speaks cat.
(3) Voldemort gives a traditional villain tell-all monologue. A tad cliché if you ask me.

Notes:
(1) '"Stop being noble," said Harry irritably. "Just take it, then we can get out of here."'
- Yeah, Cedric, stop being noble! Wait... no! Be noble! Take a dive!
(2) First student death, and the series is never the same again.
(3) Baby Voldemort is no Baby Yoda.
(4) Color-changing tattoos would be a goldmine!
(5) "Lord Voldemort had risen again."

Notes:
(1) Harry: "Mrs. Weasley, you didn’t believe that rubbish Rita Skeeter wrote in Witch Weekly, did you? Because Hermione’s not my girlfriend."
Molly: "Oh! ... No of course I didn’t!"
Narrator: "But she became considerably warmer toward Hermione after that."
(2) In North America we say "uh" not "er." The sphinx's password's "spiduh" to us.

Notes:
(1) Continuity error. This is set in 1994, the Macarena (see gif) wasn't a thing until 1996.
- The male cheerleader on the right's creeping me out.
(2) "Fleur ... was eyeing Bill with great interest over her mother’s shoulder. Harry could tell she had no objection whatsoever to long hair or earrings with fangs on them."
- Fleur loves ze bad boys.

Glitchreads:
(1) Somehow, my recent review for "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" switched editions. Normally I'd switch it back, but it's the second review I've written for the book, and ŷ only lets you switch the edition of either your earlier or more popular review. So now my book covers no longer match! and my OCD is driving me nuts!

Notes:
(1) Krum's oddly puritan about Hermione possibly being with other guys. Who knew?
(2) Hagrid: “The less you lot ’ave ter do with these foreigners, the happier yeh’ll be. Yeh can trust any of ’em.
Harry: “You were getting on all right with Madame Maxime.
Hagrid: “Don you talk ter me abou her! ... You can trust any of ’em!
- Xenophobic much?

Notes:
(1) 'Both Harry’s and Ron’s [Easter eggs] were the size of dragon eggs and full of homemade toffee. Hermione’s, however, was smaller than a chicken egg. Her face fell when she saw it.
"Your mum doesn’t read 'Witch Weekly,' by any chance, does she, Ron?" she asked quietly.
"Yeah ... Gets it for the recipes."
Hermione looked sadly at her tiny egg.'

Annie 1- Fleur did say they were letting a “little boy compete
2- Myrtle is both an awful character and also hilarious

That is true, though I never expected him to be Dobby-sized in comparison. Can't fault her too much for insensitivity if it's literally the case.

Perhaps Myrtle's got a bit of poltergeist in her, because she does seem a lot more like Peeves than any of the other ghosts, who don't seem abrasive or disruptive at all.

Maja Ingrid Well, Radcliffe is very short, so I doubt they needed much to accentuate that he was younger and smaller than the other three

Very true. Granted, he is standing a bit futher back in the shot, but it's just a shock to see him so much shorter than Fleur, who I never took to be any sort of Maxime-like giant. Pattinson just towers over him.

Yeah. And I think Radcliffe was in his mid-teens and the other actors/actress in their 20s. I googled and saw the actress who plays Fleur is 1,7 and has likely reached her full height by the time of the movie was filmed, while Radcliffe likely still had some growing to do. Harry is also all hunched over while she stands straight as a flagpole. And as you said, the angle and where he stands makes him looks even tinier.

Jayson Maja Ingrid wrote: "Yeah. And I think Radcliffe was in his mid-teens and the other actors/actress in their 20s. I googled and saw the actress who plays Fleur is 1,7 and has likely reached her full height by the time o..."

I suppose he was 15, or thereabouts, when he filmed it, so it could be that he hadn't reached full height. Though, I don't remember him being noticeably taller in later films than he was in this. I mean, it works for the scene. Being physically smaller definitely underscores that underdog perception, as well as the idea that he doesn't really belong in the competition. It's just a funny looking lineup of people, like he's the low end of a bell curve :)

Maja Ingrid Jayson wrote: "Maja Ingrid wrote: "Yeah. And I think Radcliffe was in his mid-teens and the other actors/actress in their 20s. I googled and saw the actress who plays Fleur is 1,7 and has likely reached her full ..."

15-16 I think. Still even if he was at his full height at that age, the body still grows on other places.
The lineup sure is very funny, like he wouldn't look quite as small had be been next to Fleur instead of Cedric, the tallest of the bunch. He certainly looks like he doesn't belong and more like the little sibling trying to join their older sibling and their cool friends on their crazy adventures

That's true. I'd expect he'd fill out a bit afterward. He's like half the width of Krum, and all skin and bones. Looks like he'd crumble under the weight of his own hair 😁

Nisha Menon Hey no judging Moaning Myrtle. 2 months of the thanks-to-corona isolation is turning me into a version of that. She's been a ghost for quite a while.

Jayson Nisha wrote: "Hey no judging Moaning Myrtle. 2 months of the thanks-to-corona isolation is turning me into a version of that. She's been a ghost for quite a while."

Lol! Yes, I suppose Myrtle would be a pioneer of self-isolation... well, voluntary in the sense that she refused to leave the material world. I'd imagine not being able to leave a castle for 50+ years would give her an advanced case of what we're all going through now. I certainly sympathize :)

gabriella2w3 fleur's bathing suit looks so VINTAGE

Jayson gabi wrote: "fleur's bathing suit looks so VINTAGE"

Yes, I suppose so. I think in the same way that Hogwarts keeps a very medieval aesthetic, that Beauxbâtons is very mid-century haute couture with their school uniforms, which would naturally be the case for school swim attire as well.

Bookish Devil I couldn't help but notice the guy behind the girl sneak a look at her derriere xD

Jayson Bookish wrote: "I couldn't help but notice the guy behind the girl sneak a look at her derriere xD"

Oh, I hadn't noticed that. Though, he could well be resting his eyes. Either way, I guess extras get bored during filming. Moaning Myrtle's apparently not the only one sneaking peeks at things 🤷‍♂
