I think she mentioned the corner of his mouth 100 times!
I so agree!!! But what made me even more CRAZY was every other page the author mentioned her ribs!!! Every time Gus touches her his hands are around her "ribs" he leaned against her "ribs" she felt so sad she felt it in her "ribs" it was so distracting that I started predicting when "ribs" was going to be in the said...How did the editor not pick up on this??Gus wrapped his hands around or near her "ribs" so many times I was convinced that January was a skeleton...I almost stopped reading it was so irritating! Ha...sorry...my rant is over!!
Vomit and vomiting were overused too! It was all too much.

And the fire in his eyes, ugh.
Yes - this exactly! And his pupils - too much.
And the ache in her stomach.
Finally, a review that is speaking my language! I'm about 80 percent done and I'm already over this dude's smile and the "heat" between them.

His crooked mouth, his crooked smile, and her hips, her ribs, over and over and over.. too much already. I couldn't wait to finish it, and not in that wonderful kind of way. But I did finish it.
and how his eyes 'cut to' her. i think i just read that phrase 3 times within 10 minutes

it was variations of "his dark eyes/dark gaze"for me 😣😂
What about his hands making a burning sensation on her skin, felt like that took up 1/5 of the book
